About the Job
As a Transformation Manager at Allianz, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of both change and transformation initiatives.
You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project pipeline, collaborating closely with Account Management and IT functions to ensure seamless integration and execution. Your role will also encompass progress reporting and stakeholder management, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the transformation journey.
In cooperation with our client, you will support definition of future project portfolio and closely cooperate with client side counterparts in managing/ delivering it. You will act as point of contact / escalation points for matters related to projects in our project portfolio.
What you do
- Strategic Planning and Execution
- Co-created IT Strategy with stakeholders from both Allianz Technology and the client.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation across processes, systems, and structures.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to support transformation initiatives.
- Change Management
- Act as a change agent to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Address client’s demand/ request for new projects by active communication, provisioning of effort estimates and resource allocations.
- Engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment and commitment.
- Project Management
- Oversee multiple transformation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and support for transformation efforts.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate progress and gather feedback.
- Performance Measurement and Reporting
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Identify lessons learned and best practices to improve future transformation efforts.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
What you bring
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in transformation, change management, or project management roles.
- Experience in leading large-scale transformation initiatives within a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement tools.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
