Job Summary:

The Claims Payment Manager’s main duty is manage the Finance Operation team and ensure that the company is paying claims to healthcare providers and members as per the agreed KPIs. This role has the over-all responsibility to coordinate activities within Finance Operation in an effective and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Finance Operation team, delegating tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all claims payment and reconciliation matters.
  • Monitor transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Continuously refine Finance Operation processes, applying the 4-eyes principle for critical processes.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff as required.
  • Coordinate with banks to ensure compliance with the internal signature matrix and update user profiles.
  • Oversee the month-end closing process for claims reporting.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring prompt and accurate communication.
  • Work effectively with AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools, adhering to high standards of data governance, security, and ethical use.

Key Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent background).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a TPA, BPO, hospital, or medical center environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.
  • Physical fitness to carry out duties.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of operations.
