This role sits in the Medical Provider Management (MPM) team at Allianz Partners and is locally responsible for keeping our medical provider network (hospitals, clinics, labs, etc.) accurate, compliant and usable for the business in a defined region.

You are the person who makes sure contracts, data, and processes around medical providers are correct, up to date, and aligned with our global MPM strategy. You also support special regional and global projects.

It’s a good fit if you:

  • Like structured, detail-heavy work with contracts, data and trackers
  • Are comfortable coordinating across many stakeholders (providers, operations, finance, business development)
  • Want hands-on exposure to healthcare networks and medical insurance operations
  • Are happy to combine back-office rigor (records, systems, compliance) with some external interaction (providers, trainings, escalations)

If you prefer purely commercial/sales roles or very unstructured work, this will likely not suit you.

What are the key responsibilities of the role?

  • Support the build and maintenance of the medical provider network in your assigned zone by running gap analyses, managing provider empanelment requests and keeping all related files and trackers current.
  • Coordinate the full contract administration cycle: collect and complete case files, prepare and route contracts for verification and approvals, and manage both physical and electronic contract documentation and mail room flows.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date provider data: keep the provider database, hierarchies and links correct for your region, update network lists regularly, and ensure the web/interactive portals reflect the latest information.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (regional/global MPM, Network Operations, Business Development, CRM, Operations, Finance) to support negotiations, new services additions (within standard pricing and agreed TAT) and resolution of provider-related issues.
  • Support provider relations and compliance by helping manage provider complaints, monitoring performance and tariff changes, keeping records of visits and audits, and ensuring adherence to internal policies (TOM, DTPs and DOAP) and external regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards for the Manager/Assistant Manager on network performance, activities, gaps and special projects.
  • Organise and support provider training sessions as required, maintain training materials, and assist with special negotiations (e.g. health check-up packages, gatekeeper arrangements, special schemes with defined SLAs).
  • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use.

What are the key requirements?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a related field, giving you a solid foundation for understanding healthcare and business processes.
  • Practical understanding of healthcare industry dynamics (providers, tariffs, regulations, standards) and a genuine interest in learning more about provider networks and medical insurance operations.
  • Strong administrative and documentation skills: able to follow prescribed formats, maintain accurate records and trackers, work with data systems/local tools, and produce clear, structured information for others.
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills: able to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, build constructive provider relationships, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Proven reliability and resilience: high level of dependability, accountability and integrity, with the ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing demands and still deliver within agreed timelines.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and collaborating across functions to complete tasks and support high-quality service to customers and providers.
  • Fluency in MS Office (at minimum solid working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Legally permitted to work in the country of operations and physically able to perform the duties of the role (including on-site provider visits where required).
