What you do:

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure the transactional accounting quality and compliance to the applicable accounting principles for the area assigned
  • Perform bank accounts booking and reporting in accordance with the process documentation and standard procedures.
  • The activities and responsibilities in the role consist of accurate reconciliation of company bank statements with financial records, identifying discrepancies, investigating errors and preparing reports to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
  • Perform weekly or monthly reconciliations of all the company’s bank accounts comparing the entries in the accounting system with the bank statements.
  • Identifying any unrecorded entries or discrepancies and inform/coordinate with the people responsible for booking the entries.
  • Proper documentation of all the bank statements and the bank reconciliation reports monthly.
  • Support in event of internal or external audits.

 

What you bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 1-3 years of Accounting experience
  • Tax knowledge
  • Insurance acumen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills
  • SAP / GRP.
  • Ability to undertake initiative and deliver quality results often with competing deadlines
  • Individual role though needs to co-ordinate with the team and support at time of requirements
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Business English
  • Arabic language
  • Communicating with internal clients regarding deliveries , inquiries, providing support, and addressing any client concerns in a professional and timely manner.
