Role overview
We are looking for a seasoned leader responsible for overseeing and driving multiple service deliveries across various Allianz Operating Entities (OEs). The role requires a strategic mindset, strong decision-making capabilities, and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders in multiple locations to deliver value, drive efficiencies, and support business growth for Allianz Services Mauritius while aligning with Allianz Group objectives.
Your impact
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Service Delivery will be responsible for managing and driving insurance operations for Allianz Operating Entities (OEs) by implementing and adhering to standardized operating procedures. The role involves identifying opportunities and supporting OEs in enhancing productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization while maintaining high standards of quality and service. This will be achieved through the strategic use of automation, AI, process re-engineering, and business analytics, thereby contributing to the OEs' and Group's success.
The Head of Service Delivery will also be tasked with developing a comprehensive blueprint and vision for upskilling and cross-skilling capabilities across Allianz Services. This includes fostering a future-ready workforce by promoting technical expertise, harmonization and synergy across Allianz Service units. Additionally, the role will play a critical part in achieving Allianz Services' financial and cost optimization targets by driving a cost-conscious culture and encouraging innovative practices.
Some of your core responsibilities include:
- Strategic partnership: Act as a trusted strategic partner for all Allianz OEs (your clients) by driving operational efficiencies, delivering value, and ensuring alignment with Group objectives.
- Business growth and expansion: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities for Allianz Services Mauritius by leveraging the existing and potential customer base.
- Decision-making excellence: Apply strong decision-making skills in areas such as process viability, pricing methodology, investment decisions for process setup, and pitching for new lines of business in emerging skill areas.
- Cost and revenue governance: Provide robust guidance, control, and governance over cost and revenue management, ensuring compliance with the cost-plus business model.
- Stakeholder engagement: Lead interactions with senior stakeholders, including Directors and Heads of Business across Allianz OEs, to drive operational excellence, foster collaboration, and identify future growth opportunities.
- Talent strategy and future readiness: Design and implement a forward-looking strategy for upskilling and redeploying the talent base. Anticipate and address technological advancements, such as the automation of repetitive tasks through AI and robotics, to ensure a future-ready workforce.
What your bring into the role (leadership and technical skills)
Mandatory / Advanced level
- Insurance domain expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the insurance industry, including the end-to-end (E2E) value chain, covering underwriting, claims, policy administration, and customer service.
- Inspiring leadership: Set a clear and compelling vision for your department, aligning teams with long-term strategic goals and fostering innovation and growth.
- Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders incl, your clients, influencing and collaborating effectively to achieve shared goals.

- Data-driven insights: Utilize business analytics and data-driven insights to support decision-making, improve performance, and deliver measurable value to OEs and the Allianz Group.

- Language proficiency: Fluency in both French and English is essential for this role. Proficiency in other languages, such as German, Spanish, Italian, or Dutch, is highly advantageous and will enhance collaboration across Allianz’s global network.
