Supporting internal financial reporting and analysis, the Financial Analyst Intern provides support to the development of presentations and financial models. They will assist in the development of financial communications to meet specific reporting needs. The Financial Analyst, Intern position plays a key role in supporting the preparation of forward-looking financial information including sensitivity and scenario analysis. This role involves close collaboration with local and global staff across various functions within a global matrix organization.

 

This internship offers hands‑on experience in a professional environment by supporting day‑to‑day departmental activities while building foundational skills and exposure to business operations through guided tasks and projects. This role is designed to support learning and development through meaningful work experience while contributing to departmental goals. 

 

 

The Internship begins in September 2026 and ends in December 2026.

 

Work hours:  Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

 

Hybrid Way of working: This position follows a hybrid schedule that includes 2 in-office days on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our office in Cambridge, Ontario.

What you will do

 

  • Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Support monthly and quarterly closing to ensure reporting of timely and accurate results
  • Support and develop components of financial models.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for Senior Leadership, Board committee and Board meetings.
  • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics, and cloud‑based tools, using insights responsibly and in alignment with our standards for data governance, security, and ethical use.

 

 

What you will bring 

 

  • College or University student pursuing and degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics or other related field.
  • Proficient with MSOffice 365 with willingness to learn advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical aptitudes.

Hourly base pay rate is $21.00 CAD
