Partner Success Lead

Reporting to a Senior Leadership Team member, this position will provide leadership for the assigned partnership success team. Drives strategy and execution by providing leadership to cross-functional team in an agile work environment. Leads the development and execution of sustainable and profitable growth strategies for assigned partners through strong execution of priority initiatives. Responsible for developing, recommending, and implementing strategic and annual plans while driving profitable growth.
Key responsibilities/What you do
- Directly manages one or more cross-functional teams that are responsible for daily delivery and business performance.
- Responsible for team specific P&Ls.
- Develops deep understanding of current and future market and customer needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners, including insurance brokers, agencies, and travel advisors, acts as an escalation point, provides partner facing support, and represents the larger partnership success team.
- At times attending partner calls and/or partner meetings.
- Creating a partner success strategy to drive growth in new and existing partnerships.
- Oversees day-to-day operations of assigned team(s) to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Effectively collaborates with diverse teams to achieve company objectives while fostering collaboration in a matrix organization.
- Develops and implements team processes and procedures to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
- Monitors team and partner specific KPIs and implements corrective measures as needed.
- Drives the execution of key strategies which include building a world-class customer experience and developing compelling new products and services.
- Partners with Senior Leadership Team to identify short and long-term strategies to support the company’s objectives for growth, revenue, profit, and customer experience for assigned partners/agents.
- Identifies key metrics and drives partnership success team performance.
- Partners with functional heads to align resources to ensure effective execution in an agile environment.
Key requirements/What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or combination of relevant education and work experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience, ideally managing people
- Significant experience and proven success in leadership including facilitating change, working in a matrix environment, and project delivery
- Experience working in the insurance industry; direct experience working with or within insurance brokerages, agencies, or travel advisor/travel agency distribution channels is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, problem solving and decision-making skills; results oriented
- Strong comprehension of business financials and regulatory environments
- Technical mindset, experience with Lean & Agile, exposure to CRM and collaboration tools
- Travel Requirements: Position is routinely expected to travel 5% of time.
- Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position, with a preferred location of the Cambridge, Ontario, office (expectation of regular in-office presence ).
