Reporting to the General Manager Long Tail Claims, you will lead the claims management and overall claims performance of NSW CTP claims for Allianz Australia (AAL). You will build sustained capability to achieve customer and financial outcomes.
About the role:
- Deliver Outstanding Customer Experience: Ensure an exceptional end-to-end experience for CTP claimants, focusing on their needs and satisfaction.
- Strategic Leadership: Guide the NSW business to achieve strategic success by implementing a proactive, innovative, and compliant claims process that aligns with regulatory requirements, the objectives of the Act, and customer expectations.
- Enhance Outcomes and Performance: Improve outcomes for both internal and external customers, optimize supplier performance, and enhance operating effectiveness to ensure sustained future success.
- Financial Success in Claims: Drive strong financial results in claims through customer-focused strategies, expert technical skills, and effective supplier management.
- Develop Claims Capabilities: Recruit and nurture the necessary claims expertise to achieve strategic goals and maintain best practice accreditation within Allianz's global claims frameworks.
- Build Industry Reputation: Establish a market-leading reputation for technical competence, customer focus, and industry contribution through thought leadership, adapting to changes in the personal injury environment and community expectations.
- Industry Leadership Support: Position AAL as a leader within industry groups such as the Insurance Council of Australia and engage in specific regulator interactions to strengthen our industry presence.
About you:
- 10+ years experience in a people-leadership role and in bodily injury claims management for a complex, matrixed insurance organisation.
- Experience with claims management models and cost drivers.
- Understanding of laws, rules and regulations governing claims practices.
- Experience developing technical capability and self-aware teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex and ambiguous issues, combined with the capability to lead strategic planning activities on into commercial operationalisation.
