Job Purpose
We are looking for a Chief Information Security Officer to join our company. The job holder will be responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with minimum requirements and security standards along ASIS. This person will also ensure that the Group Information Security Framework (GISF) and Operational Entity (OE) specific information security requirements are fulfilled; especially by governing the implementation of the GISF and monitoring and reviewing the resulting processes and mechanisms. They will also: Define and enable OE specific action plans to attain and maintain compliance to minimum requirements, security standards and OE specific requirements. Advise the OE management in all information security related issues, regularly report about the information security status to the OE management. Liaise with and report to the Group Information Security Officer. Communicate applicable corporate rules relevant to Information Security in coordination with the OE management. Prepare the Compliance Report for GISF for the OE Board of Management. Govern investigations of information security incidents and escalate to the Group Information Security Officer based on incident severity. Also, they will immediately escalate to Group ISO and OE Board of Management identified breach of the requirements from the GISF, and ensure that security Service Level Agreements including controls are defined and monitored for used IT services or IT services provided to other OEs.
What you will do
- Oversee the implementation and Change of Information Security controls in IT and throughout business
- Propose the purchasing and implementation of IT Security technologies and solutions to further safeguard and augment the security level of the OE
- Propose and supervise the technical and organizational means of protecting information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction, regardless of the form the information may take (e.g. electronic, print, or other forms)
- Be responsible for developing and implementing an information security program, which includes procedures and policies designed to protect enterprise communications, systems and assets from both internal and external threats
- Ensure that the Group Information Security Framework and OE specific information security requirements are fulfilled, especially by coordinating the implementation of the Group Information Security Framework and maintaining and reviewing the resulting processes and mechanisms
- Advise the OE management in all information security related issues, regularly (at least annually) report about the information security status to the OE management
- Liaise with and report to the Group Information Security Officer
- Communicate applicable corporate rules relevant to Information Security in coordination with the OE management
- Prepare the Compliance Report for Group Information Security Framework for the OE Board of Management.
- Coordinate investigations of information security incidents and escalate to the Group Information Security Officer based on incident severity
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (Compliance, Audit, IT Security, HR, circulars) and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Allianz’s standards of ethical behavior
What you bring
- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science
- M.Sc. Information Security is considered a plus
- Other qualifications such as CCSP, CISM
- At least 10 years’ experience in IT Security positions
- Strong knowledge of modern cryptography technologies and algorithm schemes
- Good knowledge of modern operating systems and their security aspects
- Good knowledge of security challenges regarding modern approaches like BYOD, IoT, MDM, Wi-Fi etc.
- Technical knowledge related to security networking, cryptography, operating systems, governance, as well as multi-vendor products experience
- High technical fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken)
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex issues
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment
