Claims Handler - Motor (Motor Claims Adjuster)

Job Purpose
We are looking for a Motor Claims Adjuster with the internal job title Claims Handler – Motor. The job holder will be responsible to manage claims adjustments for motor, coordinating all related activities and communicating with all involved parties. The role reports to the Motor Claims Supervisor.

What you will do

• Initiate and manage motor claims in the systems, according to company procedures
• Handle requests from customers and third parties and if necessary require additional
• documents/information directly by the policy holder/broker
• Process motor claims and perform payments to customers
• Review regularly closed and open claims and provide assistance in order to identify root
• causes of claims
• Suggest process improvements in order to support business in a more customer
• oriented way
• Data analysis in order to extract useful conclusions on claims
• Monitoring payments of the external repair shops, experts issuing invoices

What you bring                            

• Degree in insurance science, statistics or similar discipline
• Master’s degree/relevant professional qualifications are a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal skills in Greek and English
• Communication and negotiations skills
• Team spirit and excellent customer service skills
• Organizational ‐ decision making skills & ability to prioritize and multi‐task
• Strong time management skills, working under deadlines
