Allianz maintains several investment vehicles (Allianz LuxCos) for alternative assets on behalf of the Allianz insurance companies. To administrate and manage these investment portfolios of more than 44bn Euros for equity, real estate and infrastructure in Luxembourg, a team of investment professionals was set up, providing investment management, accounting, controlling, legal and other operational services.
Job purpose/role
As part of our growth journey and the onboarding of future new investments in the upcoming months, we currently have an open vacancy to join our compliance department as a Compliance Manager.
As a Compliance Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the compliance framework for Luxembourg-based investment entities of the Allianz Group. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will help ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal standards. You will contribute to monitoring and reporting activities and provide advice on compliance-related topics. In addition, you will support the further development of policies, processes and governance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Head of Compliance in maintaining an effective compliance framework and further developing the Compliance function
- Contribute to the enhancement and implementation of the Compliance Management System, including monitoring activities, controls and audits
- Monitor and analyse regulatory developments and support the implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements
- Prepare, coordinate and submit compliance reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting while continuously improving processes and leveraging AI-driven solutions where appropriate
- Advise business functions on compliance, governance and regulatory matters and support the development of internal policies and procedures
- Contribute to the further enhancement of the AML/CFT framework and support the first line of defence in the handling of complex AML/KYC matters
Key requirements/skills/ experience
- Relevant professional experience (3-5 years) in a control function, asset management, auditing or consulting, with exposure to compliance and AML/CFT topics
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Banking and Financial Services, Finance or Accounting
- Knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory environment (e.g. CSSF regulations) and relevant European regulatory frameworks, including AIFMD, MiFID II and AML/CFT requirements
- Interest in regulatory developments within the asset management industry and the ability to assess their practical implications
- Team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration and continuous process improvement
- Comfortable working with modern technologies and interested in leveraging AI-driven solutions
- Business-fluent English; German and/or French would be an asset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
