We are looking for a Student Assistant Liability, based in Copenhagen.
Your Team

We have expert global Liability insurance teams who are backed up by Allianz Commercial’s market leading capacity and our ability to underwrite risks in over 200 countries and territories. The Impact You Will Have
You will help keep the underwriting process running smoothly by providing proactive, hands-on support at every stage. Through building positive relationships with brokers and delivering reliable assistance to colleagues and clients alike, you will contribute to a professional and responsive service experience. Your coordination with other teams will help ensure policies are processed accurately and on time — making a real difference to day-to-day operations.
This is a pan-Nordic role, and you will work closely with colleagues across both our Stockholm and Copenhagen offices, as well as international offices.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Assist in underwriting new and renewal accounts, including preparing relevant client/market research, claims data, and supporting risk pricing using global tools

Support the evaluation of Natural Catastrophe Accumulation where relevant to the Line of Business

Help ensure underwriting compliance in line with the governance framework, including Underwriting Authorities and Underwriting Guidelines

Assist in achieving contract certainty on all accounts at inception and support the binding of Facultative Reinsurance prior to policy inception

Establish and maintain policy files for each risk and transaction, ensuring accurate documentation is issued to or received from brokers

Support the administration of International Insurance Programs and coordinate with Market Management

Proactively support timely and accurate premium booking and work with functions such as Operations and Credit Control to resolve outstanding accounts queries

Develop and maintain relationships with brokers at peer level and internal teams involved in the underwriting process
What You’ll Bring to the Role

A basic understanding of risk assessment, including inherent exposures and natural hazards relevant to the Line of Business
-
Awareness of pricing principles and the ability to analyse performance against benchmarks with an understanding of market dynamics and customer needs

Familiarity with contract drafting and interpretation, with an interest in developing consistent and robust policy wordings

A solid understanding of the policy administration lifecycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, and credit control

Strong analytical skills — the ability to absorb information from various sources, examine data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions

Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and motivate others without direct authority

An interest in or basic exposure to insurance products, the local/regional market landscape, and the legal and regulatory framework

A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.

Fluent Danish language skills
Further Information:
For Denmark, the salary for this role will be DKK 216,31 gross per hour.
