Corporate Travel Specialist
RO
We’re looking for a Travel & Expense Specialist who is passionate about creating seamless travel experiences within a complex, global corporate environment. In this role, you’ll support the implementation and continuous improvement of our global travel and expense (T&E) program, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a best-in-class service for our internal stakeholders. You’ll be working closely with our Corporate Travel Manager and key external partners to support daily operations and strategic initiatives.
What you do
-
Act as a key support to the Global Corporate Travel Manager in implementing and enhancing Allianz Partners’ Travel & Expense Program.
-
Ensure compliance with company travel regulations and support the roll-out of tools like our online booking system and global travel agency solutions.
-
Provide high-quality, hands-on support to internal users of the T&E tools—troubleshooting booking issues, managing access rights, and promoting compliant travel behavior.
-
Consolidate and process global travel data to support monthly reporting and identify opportunities for process improvement.
-
Collaborate with key external vendors (e.g., AMEX GBT, American Express, HRS, Amadeus) and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth roll-out and adoption of global travel initiatives.
What you bring
-
A proven background in corporate travel—either as a travel agent, corporate travel consultant, or procurement specialist.
-
Strong knowledge of the travel industry, including booking tools, GDS (Amadeus preferred), and international travel regulations.
-
A consultative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to travel requests.
-
Familiarity with travel tech solutions and a genuine interest in innovation in the corporate travel space.
-
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer-service focus.
-
Well-organized and analytical, able to manage tight deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
-
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with travel tools and dashboards is a plus.
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred; education or training in travel/tourism is an advantage.
-
Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as French or German are a plus
