What you do
The mission of the Corporate Communications Specialist is to enhance and protect the Allianz Partners brand through effective internal and external communication strategies. You will create engaging content, foster relationships with media and stakeholders, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels. By supporting employee engagement initiatives and upholding brand integrity, you will contribute to Allianz Partners' reputation as a trusted industry leader.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute internal and external communications plans at local level in alignment with the group communications strategy, planning and resources
- Work on the relationship with media and key stakeholders, drafting press releases, media statements, articles, and executive messaging to position the company as an industry leader.
- Adapt and cascade local communications to the group vision, strategy and figures. Create and organize internal communications campaigns and events to increase employees´ engagement and brand reputation (Eg. Physical and hybrid Townhalls, GOB).
- Harmonize group messaging in all internal and external communication channels (intranet, websites, brochures, press dossier, boiler plate, ppt presentation, social media)
- Ensure proper and compliant use locally of basic brand principles (correct use of logo, compliant email signatures, stationery, ppt templates, building signage) and in addition, ensure adoption and adherence to global rebrand and/or brand refresh programs
- Share key local events and communications activities on a regular basis, share best practices with the communications community
- Monitor reputation locally and ensuring local knowledge about group press and reputation/crisis policy. Manage reputation issues, crisis situations and monitor company and leaders´reputation.
- Play an active role in the global comms community (topic ideation, content creation, information sharing, knowledge sharing, global topic owner)
- Support MD & HR communications and build on a strong spokesperson´ positioning. Partner with HR and the leadership team to communicate initiatives related to strategy, change management, recognition, and wellbeing. Special support to local experts and key spokespersons such as the local Excecs.
- Develop a fruitful network with other Allianz OEs Communicators based in the UK and Ireland.
- Manage the local communications budgets, intern, KPIs
- Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use.
What you bring
- Proven experience working closely with Executive Teams, acting as a trusted sparring partner to prepare leaders for media engagements, public appearances and high stakes communications.
- 2-3 years of experience in external and corporate communications, including media relations, press strategy and stakeholder communications. Strong understanding of media dynamics, including pitching, managing journalist relationships and preparing key messages, Q&A and briefing materials.
- Experience in crisis communication and issues management, with the ability to provide guidance, structure messages and support decision-making under pressure.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, consistent and compelling narratives for different audiences and channels.
- Digital mindset and strong interest in corporate, digital and visual communications, understanding how audiences consume content across platforms.
- Ability to adapt messages and content to multiple formats, platforms and audiences, maintaining coherence with corporate positioning and tone of voice.
- Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with design and video tools (Canva, Photoshop, Premiere, video editors or similar) to support day-to-day communication needs.
- Highly organized, proactive and hands-on profile, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in cross-functional environments and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Creative, engaged and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong motivation to contribute ideas, add value and continuously improve communication projects.
