What you do
As an HR Intern at Allianz Partners, you will join our dynamic UK & Ireland People & Culture team, supporting around 1,000 colleagues across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad HR Generalist experience in a friendly, multicultural, and supportive environment.
You will play a key role in delivering a smooth and scalable HR service, supporting employees and the People & Culture team with operational, administrative, and process‑driven tasks. This role is well‑suited for someone curious about HR, motivated by helping people, and excited to learn in a fast‑paced, tech‑enabled workplace.
Key responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Act as the first line of HR support via the HR inbox, intranet content, and online request forms.
- Assist employees with day‑to‑day queries, including internal contracts, onboarding tasks, system access, and password resets.
- Provide second‑line support to the wider HR team on operational matters.
Process Improvement & HR Technology
- Contribute to reviewing, improving, and re‑engineering HR processes to create a scalable and future‑ready service.
- Support optimisation of HR processes within SAP SuccessFactors and help connect processes related to legacy systems.
- Work confidently with data, using it to identify insights, trends, or recommendations.
Collaboration & Team Support
- Work closely with the UK & Ireland People & Culture team of 3 permanent staff and 2 interns, contributing to a positive team culture.
- Participate in end‑to‑end onboarding processes and general HR tasks to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Deliver tasks independently while also collaborating effectively within the team.
- Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.

- Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks effectively, and committed to delivering a high‑quality customer experience.
- Comfortable working with data: collecting it, interpreting it, and using it to support recommendations.
- Tech‑savvy and quick to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
- Curious, proactive, and unafraid to ask questions or challenge constructively.
