RSA Head of Platform - UK & Ireland

About the role
We are looking for a highly experienced Platform Leader to lead the end-to-end delivery, and performance of a large-scale Roadside Assistance (RSA) operations platform for our global clients. The candidate will be based in UK and Ireland and will serve as the central leader for managing and expanding RSA operations across all UK and Ireland Business Partners
This is a strategic and operational leadership role that requires strong platform management experience, deep understanding of operations, stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to build and scale high-performing teams in in the UK.
What you will do
Platform Ownership & Strategic Execution
- Take full ownership of the RSA operations platform for internal operations management
- Lead the end-to-end platform delivery, including workforce planning, process mapping, technology integration, and performance governance
- Ensure seamless platform operations aligned with client SLAs, compliance, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with technology, HR, training, and compliance teams to ensure readiness and scalability
Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day operations for UK RSA business delivered from UK and Ireland
- Drive productivity, efficiency, and accuracy across the entire service lifecycle — including emergency roadside assistance, accident response, and customer support
- Utilize data analytics to monitor performance, identify gaps, and deploy continuous improvement initiatives
- Deliver operation performance with agreed budget
Leadership & Team Building
- Build and lead a team of managers, team leads, and frontline staff.
- Define goals, manage performance, and develop talent through coaching and structured development plans.
- Create a high-performance culture focused on accountability, ownership, and customer satisfaction.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a primary interface between the client’s senior leadership in UK
- Own operational governance, manage escalations, and lead regular business reviews
- Drive transparency and trust through strong communication, reporting, and strategic alignment with client objectives
AI Readiness Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data, analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.
What you will bring
- 10–15 years of experience in platform or operations management, preferably in Roadside Assistance sector
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience setting up and managing end-to-end platforms in a high-complexity, client-facing environment operating a 24/7 operation
- Experience managing global clients and stakeholders, preferably in the automotive or RSA sector.
- Strong understanding of performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs), operational analytics, and reporting tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like setup environment.
- Previous experience managing UK/Europe-based clients.
- Exposure to RSA, emergency response, or auto-assistance operations.
