An exciting opportunity exists for a Governance Specialist to join our TIO MAC team. This role is central to driving strong governance, claims quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.

 

In this role, you will work within a supportive and collaborative team environment where your expertise will directly contribute to strengthening governance capability and supporting positive customer outcomes.

 

About the role

  • Manage regulatory frameworks, databases, legislative change activities and associated documentation requirements
  • Supporting audit, assurance and risk activities as a key liaison between the business and Risk and Compliance Functions
  • Supporting incident management, audit actions and business continuity preparedness activities
  • Managing and maintaining document libraries and governance frameworks
  • Auditing of personal injury claims, ensuring compliance with internal standards. Key responsibilities include monitoring performance and evaluating outcomes.

 

About you

  • Experience in governance, regulatory compliance, risk or related environments
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation
  • Experience within insurance, personal injury or financial environments will be highly regarded
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify risks, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes across varying levels of the business
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
