PROPERTY ASSESSOR (ON - ROAD)– CUSTOMER AND OPERATION – DARWIN (6-MONTHS CONTRACT)

About the role

  • Plan, prioritise, and manage workflows to deliver timely, accurate property claim outcomes that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Conduct site inspections and assess property damage to determine cause, extent, and required repairs.
  • Prepare detailed scopes of work and estimate repair costs, ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with builders, trades, and suppliers to progress claims and resolve issues effectively.
  • Assess coverage and liability, manage complex claims, and ensure compliance with standards, governance, and continuous improvement practices

 

About you

  • Relevant experience in property assessing, insurance, building, or related fields.
  • NT Driver Licence.
  • Strong technical knowledge of insurance principles, property damage, building materials, and repair methodologies.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex information and support sound decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in systems, software, and applying policy wording to claims scenarios.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
