TECHNICAL SPECIALIST – PERSONAL INJURY – DARWIN, NT (12 MONTH SECONDMENT)

The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical support to the TIO MAC team and improve performance of the team, in achieving targets/KPIs.

About the role

  • Provide accurate and effective claims management advice while applying best-practice technical claims strategies to support timely claim resolution.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to claim referrals while maintaining high service and compliance standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of innovative initiatives that create value for customers, claims staff, and the organization.
  • Assist in implementing claims management strategies focused on achieving positive scheme outcomes including the use of alternative resolution approaches.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through timely responses to customer enquiries and accurate, efficient claims processing.

 

About you

  • Experience in CTP or Personal injury claims within complex, matrixed customer service environments, with strong knowledge of relevant CTP legislation.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in using systems, databases, reporting tools, and communication platforms to support claims operations effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies, maintain accuracy, and complete tasks thoroughly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
