Job Summary:
Are you passionate about Linux, DevOps, and cutting-edge enterprise solutions? Join our dynamic team as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and operational excellence. In this role, you'll support the migration of IBM MQ into the AWS cloud using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub and Helm. You will participate in installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance topics. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to support enterprise server operations.
- Leverage DevOps practices to enhance automation, scalability, and efficiency across the infrastructure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD to streamline application deployment.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise servers.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate and deploy applications seamlessly.
- Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard systems.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations to address system emergencies and ensure business continuity in the existing as well as future MQ infrastructure.
- Document system configurations, processes, and changes to maintain transparency and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with Linux, ideally in enterprise-level environments.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu).
- Proficiency in managing AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Familiarity with networking protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and container orchestration
- Knowledge of IBM MQ & basic AI Tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), LFCS (Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator), or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Familiarity with additional configuration management tools (e.g., Helmcharts, Ansible, Terraform).
