The Business Development Manager will be responsible for maintaining Nextcare’s existing business relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities. Acting as a vital link between Nextcare and its clients, including insurance companies, brokers, and key accounts, the role requires a strategic mindset to align with the company’s objectives. The ideal candidate will explore and create new business opportunities in direct collaboration with the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth:
  • Generate ideas and initiatives to leverage existing and prospective partner strengths to enhance Nextcare’s portfolio.
  • Develop new revenue streams from both new and existing business opportunities in collaboration with management.
  • Create, manage, and maintain a robust and actionable sales pipeline.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Represent Nextcare in formal meetings with external organizations on insurance-related matters.
  • Provide clients with expert guidance on developing, implementing, and revising insurance programs and policies.
  • Ensure regular engagement with payers and arrange Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy:
  • Conduct regular claims performance analysis for key accounts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technical developments, and competitor activities to align business strategies with market demands.
  • Ensure coordination with insurance companies to gather competitive intelligence and secure effective deals.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Maintain continuous updates in Salesforce to reflect actual new and renewal business.
  • Plan and organize special seminars and provide training for clients and internal employees to enhance their understanding of insurance management.
  • Support other departments, such as finance, in areas like fee collection and claims payment to providers.

Key Requirements:

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within TPAs, insurance companies, hospitals, or medical centers.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of the insurance and healthcare industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
