What you do 

 

As a Claims Payment Processor, you will be responsible for managing critical payment and reporting processes that support our healthcare claims operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and sending processed claims reports to payers within agreed turnaround times.
  • Processing provider payments and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) accurately and on schedule.
  • Recording and reconciling financial transactions while ensuring appropriate supporting documentation is maintained.
  • Monitoring transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Supporting monthly account reconciliations and journal entry postings.
  • Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining organized financial records and providing accurate information when required.
  • Building professional relationships through effective communication with internal stakeholders, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and clients.
  • Ensuring all accounting deadlines and reporting requirements are met consistently.
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What you bring 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, claims payments, or transaction processing.
  • Experience within a TPA, insurance environment, healthcare provider, hospital, medical center, or BPO operation will be highly valued.
  • Experience using accounting or financial management systems is preferred.

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Good understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high transaction volumes accurately.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools, reporting systems, and technology-driven processes.
