The Opportunity
The vision of Allianz Ireland's Market Management function is to transform how we perceive, design, deploy and service our products to ensure we become the most trusted customer-centric insurer in our market. The Customer Marketing & Loyalty Specialist reports to the Digital Distribution & Transformation Manager and drives growth through marketing activities directed to our customers with a view to improving voice of customer and NPS scores and improving policy retention and contributing to our brand health. In this role you would also manage the Allianz Rewards program, planning our customer marketing communications lifecycle strategy (delivering targeted email & SMS) and collaborating with our online platform specialists to drive customer engagement, positive sentiment and retention and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to meet NPS and churn targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to strategic planning with a view to improving growth via enhanced retention
- Develop and execute the customer communication strategy (email/SMS) to enhance retention of our home, motor & pet portfolios
- Embed measurement and optimization into all customer base communication strategies to measure their commercial impact
- Manage and optimize the Allianz Rewards program and our customer loyalty strategy to drive customer retention and growth
- Champion a data-led approach to customer understanding, segmentation, and decision-making
- Collaborate with our online platform specialists to enhance customer marketing on our websites
- Collaborate with Proposition specialists to assist in retention propositions
- Manage monthly retention update on retention results & customer marketing initiatives to support business growth
- Contribute to strategic planning and deliver operational marketing actions leveraging existing base to positively impact NPS & VOC scores
Key Requirements / Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Third level or postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Business
- 3+ years' experience in managing rewards programs and executing targeted base management campaign strategies across the customer lifecycle, including customer loyalty, tactical sales, retention, and relationship management.
- Strong strategic thinking with a record of developing successful customer communication and loyalty strategies
- Highly data-literate with a strong understanding of customer analytics, segmentation, and personalization, with a view to optimizing campaigns and leveraging data analytics for strategic insights.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to influence across the organisation
- Experience of using or working with a key campaign technology (Adobe, Unica)
- Experience in managing external suppliers and agencies
Desirable:
- A demonstrated understanding of regulatory frameworks which influence Financial Services including Data Protection, Central Bank Consumer protection codes, etc.
- Plain English qualification or experience in Direct marketing copy creation, authoring, editing and optimisation
- APA, CIP or ACII qualification
