The Opportunity
We are seeking a HR Business Partner for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to join our People & Culture team, reporting to the Head of People & Culture. You will collaborate with designated business units to deliver comprehensive support and guidance for all People & Culture needs. Your role is to be a reliable partner to Allianz's business operations, HR colleagues, and the Allianz Group. This role would suit an experienced HR professional with a strategic mindset, excellent people management skills, and a strong understanding of employee relations. The ideal candidate should be confident in leading and implementing HR initiatives that influence business success while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to People Managers on the full suite of HR activities, including performance and talent management, change management, organizational effectiveness, skills development, learning, total rewards, and employee engagement.
- Partner with business managers and HR leadership to effectively structure and resource business units, designing and implementing strategic people plans that support delivery of business goals.
- Develop and implement HR programs, processes, and people strategies that align with business and commercial objectives while enhancing employee engagement and performance.
- Partner with Talent Management, Recruitment, Research, and Organizational Development to forecast workforce needs (skills, talent, and FTE), providing insights into external workforce trends to business managers.
- Coach and support business managers in understanding and managing people-related issues and their impact on business performance.
- Manage both informal and formal ER and IR cases and liaise with employee representatives as needed.
- Provide business areas with relevant people and performance information, anticipate workforce changes, address HR challenges, mitigate risks and deliver strategic recommendations
- Drive and deliver company-wide HR programs and initiatives and HR projects as they arise.
Key Requirements / Skills & Experience
Essential:
- At least 5 years of experience in HR within a HR Business Partner role.
- CIPD Qualified, or in the process of obtaining the qualification.
- Strong technical knowledge, especially in IR/ER, job sizing, and talent management.
- Proven track record of partnering with the business to align people and resources with commercial objectives.
Desirable:
- Experience in project management and strategic resourcing.
- Previous experience in a General Insurance or Financial Services organization.
