Allianz Partners’ Policy Management team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Technical Lead, who will work in conjunction with Policy Management Supervisors/Manager to deliver KPI’s and strategic objectives for the Department.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background performance management, reporting and analytics. The role will involve working closely with, and providing support to, the Policy Management Leadership Team to ensure the team operates efficiently and that KPI’s are met.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Drive improvement in PM productivity, quality and customer service.
  • Support PM management in Distribute and monitor the team’s daily workload to facilitate:
    • Effective management of Policy Management tasks from onboarding, day-to-day through to renewal of customer accounts.
    • The attainment of individual and group productivity
  • Carry out individual performance management in order to maintain and improve individual productivity and quality.
  • Carry out regular team meetings and huddles to improve internal communication and to inform your team of departmental policies and protocols.  Idea generation and problem solving should be part of such meetings.
  • Foster and maintain team morale
  • Liaise with other departments, brokers, Relationship Managers and Regional Sales Managers on a regular basis.
  • Analyse, Report & Provide the PM Management with trends, insights and recommendations on Performance
  • Support the PM Team on technical and customer queries and using knowledge/learnings from queries to drive process simplicity
  • Highlight knowledge gaps to training team & include in huddles use cases
  • Manage and improve the daily administrative tasks associated with Policy Management processing
  • Assume a proactive and positive approach to the handling of complaints and escalated issues, in line with established protocols, ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders in collaboration with PM Management.
  • Identify and implement system and process enhancement ideas to maximise productivity and improve the quality of adjudication decisions.
  • Contribute to strategic projects at a Policy Management, Operations and Company level, providing SME knowledge to ensure successful delivery of the project.
  • Carry out and delegate where appropriate Department tasks, e.g. Reporting, UAT, Quality.
  • Effective succession planning to ensure operational success and employee development & retention.
  • Deputise for Policy Management Supervisor and Assistant Manager, where required.
  • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data, analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.
