The Opportunity

 

 

Allianz plc is looking for a Property Claims Handler to join the Property & PA Claims Team. Reporting directly to the Property & PA Claims Manager, the successful candidate will uphold exceptional standards of customer service through the high-quality and efficient management of policyholders' claims.

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Uphold exceptional standards of customer service through the high-quality and efficient management of policyholders' claims.
  • Registration, handling, and settlement of both household and commercial property damage claims.
  • Ensure precise and comprehensive documentation of all transactions and decisions.
  • Maintain strict adherence to company quality standards.
  • Comply with financial services authority requirements for claims handling.
  • Achieve agreed targets related to settlement rates, call responses, and case completions.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to obtain and provide critical information necessary for service excellence and effective claims cost management.
  • Identify and escalate potential fraud cases by recognizing fraud indicators and referring them to the Fraud Investigation Unit (FIU).
  • Adhere to established recovery procedures for any property recovery or potential recovery cases.

 

 

Key Requirements / Skills & Experience

 

 

Essential: 

 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Insurance Claims handling or Underwriting with previous exposure to Property Claims
  • Completed an APA, CIP or a relevant insurance qualification to meet MCC requirements*
  • Skilled communicator with ability to work on initiative and manages own time effectively
