Governance & Security Expertise (GSE) area of Allianz Technology CISO sets and governs various cyber defense capabilities across the enterprise. The organization is responsible for strengthening Allianz's cybersecurity posture through effective controls, governance, security engineering capabilities, and risk transparency.

 

As a Security Data Expert, you will play a key role in developing and operating Allianz Technology's cyber analytics capability. You will be responsible for the Cyber Data Lake and related reporting solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making across cyber security, governance and risk management.

 

Working closely with security, technology and governance stakeholders, you will transform complex security data into meaningful insights that improve cyber risk visibility, strengthen reporting capabilities and support informed decision-making. 

 

What you do

 

  • Own and continuously improve the Cyber Data Lake and related analytics capabilities.
  • Design, develop and maintain cyber dashboards, KPIs and governance reporting products.
  • Transform security data into actionable insights for management, governance bodies and operational teams.
  • Ensure reliable integration, quality and consistency of data from multiple cyber security and enterprise platforms.
  • Define and maintain reporting standards, KPI definitions and data governance principles.
  • Support executive, audit and regulatory reporting through trusted and evidence-based analytics.
  • Collaborate with security, technology and risk stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cyber visibility through automation, advanced analytics and AI-enabled capabilities. 

 

What you bring

 

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Several years of experience in cyber analytics, business intelligence, data engineering or security reporting.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security, risk management and governance processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL and enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience working with Azure-based analytics technologies, including Azure Synapse or comparable solutions.
  • Knowledge of Python and/or PySpark for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience with data governance, data quality management and large-scale data environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business-relevant insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies and their practical application.
