About the Job
As a Technical Lead within our IT team, you will develop high quality software solutions to meet business needs. Working with .NET technologies and in conjunction with the IT Development team, you will develop quality code, conduct code reviews and manage a technical team of onshore and offshore software development engineers.
In this role, you will collaborate with and challenge the business to deliver optimal technical design, in line with coding best practices and testing standards.
What you do
- Lead the software engineering team by ensuring best practices, high‑quality code, thorough code reviews, and end‑to‑end agile delivery.
- Serve as the technical subject-matter expert, guiding requirements gathering, estimation, and planning for development activities.
- Facilitate and conduct peer code reviews while championing continuous process improvement and quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage iterative development work within agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban), including backlog refinement sessions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with functional and strategic needs.
- Manage technical dependencies, remove team blockers, monitor team capacity, and communicate progress, risks, and escalations proactively.
- Align with Application Architects on technical solutions, maintain technical documentation, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
What you bring
- A relevant 3rd level qualification with minimum 5 years C# / .NET development experience.
- Scrum Master level of Agile Scrum knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of building enterprise applications with Microsoft .NET Core and:
- Azure, K8S, Microservices, DDD, MS SQL Server, Entity Framework.
- Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Demonstrated understanding of software development standards, design patterns and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
