The Opportunity

The Actuarial Trainee Programme is a three-year programme designed to give you broad, hands-on experience across Allianz Ireland’s Insurance business. During the programme, you will complete three rotations across a range of Actuarial teams including Reserving, Capital Modelling, Profitability, Quantitative Risk, Retail and Enterprise Pricing. These rotations will give you real exposure to how Actuaries are involved in driving Allianz Ireland’s business objectives and how actuarial insights can shape business decisions. You’ll work closely with teams across Finance, Portfolio Management, Data Analytics and Distribution.

From day one, our Trainee Actuaries develop strong technical and cross-functional skills through our integrated learning approach. In each rotation, you will work alongside experienced Actuaries in specialist, high-performing teams, gaining exposure to capital modelling, planning, pricing and profitability analysis and reporting.

Alongside your career development, you will be supported through your actuarial exams with a comprehensive study package, giving you the time, resources and flexibility needed to progress towards qualification while building a meaningful career.
