What you do
- Process ordered, received, and returned local and foreign currency transfers for the Bank and its clients.
- Handle complaints related to ordered, received, and returned local and foreign currency transfers via SWIFT.
- Address complaints concerning ordered, received, and returned local currency transfers with unclear recipients, incorrect, or duplicate payments.
- Perform corrective operations in local and foreign currency on client accounts based on requests received through the Help Desk application.
- Prepare documents for the return of incorrect local currency transfers initiated due to employee errors.
- Compile registers and reports related to local and foreign currency transfers according to bank regulations or as required by regulatory authorities and the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB).
- Execute additional tasks assigned by the Head of the Payments and Back Office Department related to departmental activities.
- Participate in the development and testing of new functionalities and projects aimed at optimizing and automating department operations.
What you bring
- Higher education in economics with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance and accounting.
- Professional experience in the same or similar position is desirable.
- Knowledge of regulations governing payments in local and foreign currency.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
- Understanding of AI technologies such as ChatGPT.
- Ability to make effective decisions and work well in a team environment.
