Senior Product Developer (f/m/d)

The Senior Product Developer plays a key role in shaping and delivering the firm’s European product strategy, contributing to the end-to-end development of investment solutions—from initial concept through to successful launch. The role focuses on our global fund range domiciled in Luxembourg and the Active ETF platform in Ireland, providing direct exposure to some of the firm’s most strategic growth initiatives.

As part of the Product Development team, the role sits at the heart of the product lifecycle, supporting the design, structuring, and launch of innovative investment solutions while continuously enhancing the competitiveness and scalability of the platform. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on flagship initiatives that are critical to the evolution of our mutual fund and Active ETF offering.

The Senior Product Developer collaborates closely with key stakeholders across Investments, Distribution, Capital Markets, Legal, and Operations, translating strategic priorities into actionable product solutions and ensuring seamless execution. The role requires a strong understanding of financial instruments, capital markets dynamics, client needs, and the European regulatory landscape.

Beyond execution, the role offers significant strategic exposure, contributing to the identification of new product opportunities, supporting innovation in key growth areas, and helping to shape the future direction of the platform. The position provides a strong foundation for career growth, combining high-impact project work with broad senior stakeholder interaction.

Reporting to the Head of Product Development EU, the role is part of a high-performing, cross-border team and contributes to a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the broader Product Solutions and Marketing (PSM) function.

What you will do

• Drive the product development process for a new pooled vehicle, from idea generation through to market launch;
• Actively contribute to the innovation and ideation process, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and regular communication between Investment, Distribution, and Product teams;
• Work closely with the PSM Strategy Team to identify new product opportunities in the market;
• Work closely with the Life Cycle Management team to ensure an attractive, profitable, and state-of-the-art product offering aligned with the company’s strategy;
• Operate effectively in an international environment, supporting the development of cross-border projects related to the launch of new pooled vehicles;
• Work closely with the Sustainability function to develop new products and sustainable solutions;
• Lead project management activities throughout the development and launch process;
• Prepare decision-making materials for product-related meetings.

What you bring

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in investment product development, product structuring, or related areas, with a strong understanding of portfolio construction techniques and investment processes;
• Deep knowledge of UCITS structures and the European fund landscape, including regulatory, operational, and distribution considerations;
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical product solutions;
• Proven expertise in investment products and capital markets, combined with a genuine passion for innovation and product development;
• High attention to detail, coupled with the ability to maintain a strategic perspective when designing and launching new investment solutions;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience interacting with senior stakeholders across multiple functions;
• Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through to delivery;
• A collaborative, results-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment;
• A track record of working successfully in international, cross-border environments, with strong cultural awareness and the ability to build relationships across geographies;
• Intellectual curiosity and strong self-motivation, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving innovation;
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to produce high-quality analysis and presentation materials;
• Fluency in English and German (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Degree-qualified in a relevant field of study (e.g., business administration, engineering, mathematics, etc.).
• Experience with Generative AI / GenAI / Generative Artificial Intelligence, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
