Role Description

 

Allianz UK are looking for talented, experienced Business Analyst & Senior Business Analyst In line  to join our Transformation Programme on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract, helping to shape and implement the target operating model for our Commercial business. We are recruiting for several roles supporting various different initiatives across the Programme.

 

Our ambition is to transform the End-to-End experience and journey for our policyholders, intermediaries, internal users and other parties, through a combination of modernising core systems, data-led digital asset development and integrations (internal and external)

 

Salary Information

 

Business Analyst – Circa £46,000

Senior Business Analyst -  Circa £60,00o.

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Support the scoping of change initiatives required for the Transformation Programme, working within the Business Analysis Framework  
  • Use your skills and expertise as a Business Analyst to support other Programme Business Analysts to assure quality and delivery of excellence in analysis.
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels within the organization to elicit, define and manage business requirements, ensuring clear end to end traceability.
  • Ensure requirements are fully understood and approved by stakeholders, supporting Change Control and prioritisation.  
  • Support the development, systems testing, user acceptance testing and implementation of solutions by working closely with solution partners, suppliers, and business stakeholders.
  • Learn from experiences and understand how benefits have been delivered by participating in retrospectives, lessons learned and knowledge share sessions.

 

 

Essential Skills

 

  • You'll be passionate about the BA role and will have worked on several medium and large change projects, utilising Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Able to elicit comprehensive requirements and achieve consensus from stakeholders using a variety of analysis techniques
  • Solid experience creating Epics and User Stories using Confluence and Jira
  • Good understanding of Use Cases, Value Streams  and Personas 
  • Can apply recognised industry standard modelling techniques including data modelling and BPMN
  • Great stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • An agile mindset, with a flexible and adaptable approach to delivering against business priorities
  • *Senior Business Analysts - Able to work autonomously with minimal day to day direction and to support more junior members of the team in their work

 

 

Desirable Skills

 

  • A Good understanding of Business Change support activities
  • Experience working in a Financial Services environment, particularly Commercial General Insurance
  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent
