Business Delivery Manager - 12 Month Contract

As part of our UK strategy and purpose, we are recruiting a Business Delivery Lead to join the Claims Insight & Performance team. This role plays a critical part in mobilising and structuring the delivery of our Enterprise Data strategy and the wider Claims Insight & Performance vision. You will turn strategic direction into coordinated execution, helping to establish and embed the function’s operating rhythm, governance, and ways of working across Claims.
What We're Looking For
Reporting to the Head of Claims Data Improvement and Culture, you will work closely with leaders across the Claims Insight & Performance function to bring their strategic plans to life. The key strategies are already defined — your role is to translate these into real‑world delivery, ensuring work is structured, sequenced, governed, and embedded effectively.
Location and Salary:
Available locations: Guildford, Milton Keynes, or London. Final location can be discussed during the interview process.
Hybrid Working
Enjoy a balanced homebased role with regular travel required where business needs.
Salary
Circa £70,000, depending on skills and experience.
Key Accountabilities
Strategy Mobilisation & Planning:

Lead the mobilisation of the Enterprise Data Strategy and Claims Insight & Performance strategy.

Translate strategic intent into clear delivery plans, priorities, and milestones.
Operating Model & Governance:
-
Define, implement and embed the operating model for the function.

Establish effective delivery rhythms and controls.
Alignment & Stakeholder Engagement:

Ensure plans align with the wider Claims strategy and objectives.

Act as the interface between the central Data Office and Claims.

Coordinate delivery across Insight & Performance teams.

Provide structured analysis, options, and recommendations.

Prepare high‑quality materials for senior leadership.
Assurance & People Enablement:

Ensure delivery aligns with regulatory, risk and assurance expectations.

Support recruitment, onboarding and early operating rhythm.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
-
Strong capability in structuring complex problems and driving execution.

Experience operationalising strategies and frameworks.

Experience defining and embedding operating models.
-
Confidence influencing senior stakeholders.

Clear, concise communication skills.
Desirable:
-
Insurance, Claims or Financial Services experience.

Experience working with data or analytics functions.

Familiarity with regulated environments.
