Role Description

As a Data & Analytics Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional customer experiences and fostering meaningful relationships. Your primary focus will be on engaging and partnering seamlessly across the business by understanding their needs, wants, and challenges, and enabling solutions that exceed their expectations. You will work collaboratively across internal teams to ensure a unified approach in line with our Data Strategy.

The successful Data & Analytics Business Partner work across the business at a senior level, supporting and advising on strategic and operational initiatives that drive business decisions and increase the value of data deliveries across Allianz in the UK.

Reporting into the Head of Data Engagement & Business Intelligence, the Data & Analytics Business Partner will also work collaboratively across the wider data leadership team, and with stakeholders across the Global Allianz business to ensure a unified approach in line with our Data Strategy.

 

Salary Information

Salary circa - £70,000

 

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

 

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Build strong partnerships with business areas to support the definition and delivery of data projects, balancing business value and delivery capacity
  • Provide consultancy and challenge, providing a communication bridge between the strategic direction of business areas and all data disciplines
  • Influence Data Culture, Literacy and Governance through active partnerships
  • Maintain an external view of best practice and drive information strategy, to ensure Allianz is able to drive insight from its data through effective information products
  • Contribute to the development of data strategy and engagement best practice and initiatives across the D&A function

 

 

Experience

  • Experience in engaging consumers of data products, to understand the decisions they make and how they can be informed by insights derived from data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good business acumen and a strategic mindset
  • Proven experience in project, change & stakeholder management
  • Knowledge or experience in Insurance is not necessary but would be beneficial
