Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Specialist to join our brand digital team to help drive the performance and usability of our websites. This role blends advanced content editing with technical and UX expertise across Adobe Experience Cloud tools.
The role will support the digital team in developing, maintaining and updating website content, ensuring content is up to date and continuously optimised for visitor experience and search performance. This will involve the use of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) ensuring accuracy, consistency and adherence to brand and regulatory standards is maintained.
The role involves the setup, and analysis of Adobe Analytics dashboards providing the business stakeholders with valuable insight into website and content performance. The individual will use this data to develop and test strategies for optimisation.
The role will collaborate closely with the wider business teams utilising Adobe Experience Platform to activate and drive personalisation activities across our digital touch points, providing insight into performance.
Location: We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with core hub days on Tuesdays and Fridays at our Guildford office.
Additionally, you’ll join us one day per month in our London office for wider team collaboration.
Salary Information
Circa salary £35,000 - £40,000/year. Pay is based on experience, skills, and location and is part of our total reward package.
About You
- Use Adobe Analytics to monitor content performance, identify opportunities, and support data-driven content decisions and regular reporting to the business on website performance.
- Ensure content follows best practices for UX, mobile responsiveness, and digital accessibility (WCAG 2.2), (with experience in producing high fidelity wireframes in Figma – desirable).
- Use Adobe Experience platform and Adobe Target to drive personalisation and optimisation activities across our digital touch points.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure website content remains accurate, up to date and continuously optimised for visitor experience and their business needs.
- Edit, publish, and maintain digital content across AEM, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and regulatory standards.
- Perform ongoing technical SEO audits and optimisation activities, including schema markup, metadata, internal linking, accessibility, error management and site speed improvements.
- Maintain quality assurance processes for content deployment, including testing across devices/browsers and validating analytics tracking.
- Contribute to content governance documentation, including component usage guidelines, publishing workflows, and SEO/UX standards.
Essential Skills
- 2-4+ years of experience as a content editor, digital producer, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) - including component-based authoring, page building, and asset management.
- Proficiency in Adobe Analytics - creating reports, interpreting data, and analysing user behaviour and content performance.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO principles, tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, SEMrush), and best practices.
- Solid grasp of website UX (user experience) , IA (information architecture), and accessibility standards.
- Ability to understand HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (read-only for troubleshooting preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong editorial judgment and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Deep understanding of the Agile development methodology.
