Digital Marketing Executive

Role Description
We’re looking for a commercially minded Digital Marketing Executive. This role owns the delivery and optimisation of our digital marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels. You’ll plan and execute multi-channel activity that drives demand, ensures regulatory compliance and delivers measurable commercial impact.
Working cross-functionally with marketing, distribution and agency partners, you’ll manage campaigns end-to-end, from brief through to performance insight, continuously refining activity to maximise ROI.
Location
This role is based in our Guildford office. This is a hybrid role with expectation of you attending the office twice per week
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £48,000 per year
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
- Paid Media Strategy and Execution: Plan, execute and optimise paid media campaigns across a diverse mix of search, social and programmatic platforms, including (but not limited to) Google / Microsoft / LinkedIn / Meta Ads and relevant industry-specific placements. Manage budgets, targeting and bidding strategies to maximise ROI and support demand generation objectives. Identify opportunities to test and scale new digital channels and formats to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Organic LinkedIn Channel Management: Own and manage the LinkedIn channel, including content planning, copy creation, scheduling and performance optimisation. Ensure content aligns with business objectives and campaign priorities, strengthening Allianz’s digital presence and engagement.
- End-to-End Campaign Ownership: Take ownership of digital campaigns from initial brief and planning through creative development, launch, optimisation and post-campaign reporting. Ensure activity is delivered on time, within budget and aligned to business objectives.
- Creative Development and Asset Delivery: Work with internal teams and external agencies to develop engaging, platform-specific and compliant digital advertising assets. Contribute to creative briefs, write and refine ad copy and ensure all assets meet brand and regulatory standards.
- Governance and Regulatory Approval: Manage stakeholder alignment and secure appropriate business and regulatory sign-off prior to campaign launch. Ensure all digital activity complies with Allianz governance requirements and industry regulations.
- Performance Reporting and Insight: Deliver clear data-driven reporting using KPIs and dashboards. Analyse campaign data to identify trends, optimise performance and provide actional recommendations to inform future digital strategy.
- Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across marketing, distribution and product/technical teams to align digital activity with wider campaign plans and business priorities. Provide proactive communication and updates throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in digital marketing, with demonstrable success delivering multi-channel paid media campaigns across search, social and programmatic platforms. Experience within a B2B or regulated environment is advantageous.
- Experience delivering digital campaigns end-to-end, from briefing and planning through to optimisation and reporting. Confident managing campaign budgets and optimising spend to delivery measurable ROI.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools across search, social and analytics platforms (e.g. Google / Microsoft / LinkedIn / Meta Ads and reporting dashboards). Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) is beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and written/copywriting skills with experience creating engaging digital content tailored to platform and audience. Able to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messaging.
- Confident interpreting campaign data and translating insights into actionable recommendations to inform future digital activity and planning.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and work cross-functionally within a commercial and regulated environment.
