Allianz is seeking a dedicated Governance and Risk Information Security Analyst to join our team. This position is integral to ensuring compliance with our internal standards and regulatory requirements.
The Governance and Risk Information Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring information security governance and compliance within the organization. This role is crucial in maintaining adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements, managing strategic risks, and developing a comprehensive information security governance framework.
Salary
Circa £45,000 per year.
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
Key Accountabilities
- Information Security Governance Framework: Develop, implement, and maintain a framework that aligns with strategic objectives and ensures compliance with Group policies and industry standards such as NIST CSF and COBIT.
- Risk Management: Manage and mitigate strategic risks associated with information security. Provide guidance on risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various teams within information security, IT, and the wider business to ensure compliance and effective execution of information security policies and procedures.
- GRC Submissions: Support Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) submissions and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
- IS Controls and Risk Catalogue: Oversee and support a comprehensive catalogue of information security controls and risks, ensuring effective execution of actions and control improvements.
- Technology Trends: Stay updated with developments, trends, and innovations within technology to integrate new insights into the organization's information security strategy.

Experience
- Proven experience in information security governance, risk management, controls, and risk mitigation within a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with relevant frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, Operational Risk Framework (ORF), Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM), and Risk and Control Optimization (RICO).
- Ability to translate information security policies and processes to senior stakeholders, leadership, and technical peers.
- Deep understanding of information security risk management processes, frameworks, and procedures, including the ability to identify, assess, monitor, and report on IS risk and compliance.
- Proficiency in implementing and managing IS Governance & Risk frameworks within various delivery methods and processes.
- Practical experience in overseeing and supporting a comprehensive catalogue of IS controls and risks, and developing and executing actions, control improvements, or mitigations for identified risks.
