Property Performance and Governance Analyst

 

 

Role Description

 

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Property function through effective facilitation, reporting, and analysis of performance and governance. Taking the role as the key point of contact for our performance and governance framework and leading our analysis and reporting to ensure we are continuously delivering expected outcomes for the business and employees.

This role will be a hybrid role, based in our Guildford office.

Salary Information

 

Pay: Circa £53,000 per year.

 

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

 

About You

 

  • You will be Driving analysis of data and performance of the property function to ensure we meet our agreed business and employee outcomes.
  • Data Management & Analysis: Analyse property data including KPIs, financial performance, and office space usage to optimise property strategies and outcomes.
  • Dashboard Development: Create and maintain a property dashboard as a central point for key performance indicators.
  • Reporting & Governance: Produce monthly performance reports, collating inputs from internal and external stakeholders, and support governance papers for senior leadership, including ExCo and tier forums.
  • Support the preparation and implementation of property strategies and tactics, driving regular and ongoing monitoring of our performance data to help inform our decisions.
  • Perform control and governance activities and prepare reviews and governance papers. Record and implement controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Conduct analysis, including the identification of results drivers, key performance indicators, variance from target and the preparation of communications to cover findings. Monitor trends and support opportunities, including the identification of underperforming segments to drive performance and best practice.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and champion property process improvements, ensuring procedures are documented, accessible, and reviewed periodically.
  • Third-Party Oversight: Working closely with the Procurement and SRM functions, analyse third-party KPI performance support contract management and ensure alignment with service agreements.
  • Financial Oversight: Provide financial analysis, through support the Property Financial Controller, and trends in property budgets and spend.  Assist with financial reporting based for both internal and external requirements.
  • H&S Compliance: Provide coverage for the H&S Compliance Manager and produce related reports when required.
  • Monitoring and assessing the service provided to the business and employees by the Property team and suppliers.
  • Capture and recommend operational improvements that drive continuous improvement of the property function.
  • Opportunities for this role to lead continuous improvement and small project activity within Property function.
  • Ensure all service levels and standards are met through the effective reporting and governance of Property performance.
  • Ensure consistency of reporting and identify significant variances to challenge under performance.

 

Essential Skills

 

  • Highly organised self-starter, able to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, presentations skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and experience in areas such as audit, financial or business analysis environments.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to deliver insights related to the performance, opportunities ad risks.
  • Well-developed analytical skills, including capability to interpret a range of tools, identify patterns, trends and risks and inform actions and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to explore business insights and trends to identify and translate potential for operational improvements and performance optimisation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, effective communication and influencing skills across the business and with external partners, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
  • An understanding of the principles of supplier performance management.
  • An ability to communicate to the business at all levels, including potentially `difficult conversations` with stakeholders/suppliers.
  • An ability to present complex information and data into an easy-to-understand format.
  • Optimise activity through effective work planning and prioritisation of yourself and those around you.
