Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity within Protection and Resilience as a Senior Operational Resilience Consultant. In this role, you will refine and implement an Operational Resilience framework and related policies, overseeing their execution across Allianz UK. Collaborating with leaders across the business, you'll support understanding and adherence to regulatory obligations. Salary Information
Pay: Circa £58,000 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
- You will ensure IBSs and impact tolerances across Allianz UK are maintained and updated, securing necessary approvals from business areas and supporting functions.
- Reviewing and continually improving the mapping of underlying supporting assets across all relevant pillars.
- Refining resilience controls/metrics used to assess vulnerability of mapped assets.
- Coordinating and overseeing regular completion of resilience assessments for identified important business services (IBS).
- Governing the process of identifying, classifying, and prioritizing specific vulnerabilities related to IBSs, escalating unresolved issues as needed.
- Facilitating the definition and refinement of an IBS-level view of risks/threats for developing severe but plausible testing scenarios.
- Reviewing and reporting on compliance as a non-EEA entity to DORA requirements, advising Third Party Risk Management colleagues.
- Reviewing Third Party Service Requests for operational resilience criteria and IBS relevance.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in governance, risk, or business continuity.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to communicate and influence at all levels.
- Ability to drive awareness of resilience topics across the organization.
- Self-motivated and achievement-oriented with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively, achieving deadlines with a flexible and innovative working style.
- Demonstrates excellent team working skills, supporting other team members.
- Willingness to learn and develop through self-driven personal development.
- Experience in planning and facilitating workshops of small and medium complexity.
