Role Description
As a , you will provide action-based, forward-looking analysis to support the business's key objectives, placing data and analysis at the heart of decision-making and fostering a data-driven culture. Your role will focus on increasing profitable growth, reducing inefficiency, and optimizing operations, while influencing process and proposition design through data insights. We offer flexible working options, including hybrid and remote arrangements.
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £50,000 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
- You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing reporting and analytical outputs to support business operations and senior leader decisions.
- Managing and prioritizing a diverse and fast-moving work-stack of tasks, ensuring continual progress of key work-streams aligned with commercial and data strategies.
- You will manage stakeholder relationships, reinforcing credibility to influence decision-makers through clear and insightful data analysis.
- Supporting project implementation and integration of new business with expert input into data requirements and dependable delivery of data solutions.
- Introducing new analytical methods, visualizations, and technologies to enhance team capability, efficiency, and impact.
- You will support the development of junior analysts and budding data talent through mentoring and coaching.
Essential Skills
- Stakeholder management experience at all levels, including executive/board level.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, preferably in financial services.
- Experience in evaluating data and drawing conclusions from analysis.
- Confidence in presenting information clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to communicate with and influence senior leaders.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Data manipulation abilities using SQL, R, Python, Excel, PowerBI, and DAX.
- Experience with data architecture, including Microsoft Azure Platform and Databricks.

Desirable Skills
- Experience using statistical software like Minitab.
- Familiarity with coding languages such as JavaScript, HTML.
- Knowledge of machine-learning and broader data-science techniques.
- Enthusiasm for fostering interest in data analysis among non-technical audiences.
- Ability to mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
