The Role:
The Intern will be supporting the Internal Audit Department in its ongoing digital transformation and process improvement initiatives. By working with the Internal Audit Data Analyst, this position focuses on leveraging data to enhance our internal controls and risk management strategies.
As a member of the audit team, he will have the opportunity to collaborate with audit and data analytics professionals, engage with a variety of business units, and contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Main Tasks:
- Enhance audit processes and methodologies through data and technology, including developing analytics use cases to detect anomalies.
- Extract, transform, and analyze datasets, preparing comprehensive audit documentation and visualizations.
- Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI/Microstrategy and Python to support audit objectives.
- Collaborate with audit teams to integrate data analytics into planning and execution, providing insights for audit findings.
- Experiment with innovative technologies like generative AI to drive process improvement and digital transformation.
