INTERN - DEDICATED TO SRU WITHIN GROUP CREDIT UNDERWRITING

The role :
The role would be to support the steering and day-to-day management of the SRU (Sentive Risk Management Unit) related activities as part of the Group Credit Underwriting team. This role would be mainly related to supporting the Group Head of SRU for the tasks related to SRU specific monitoring tools design, analyzing the needs and finalizing the requirements, participating in internal and external data sourcing/data administration activities to satisy the business need, testing, process integration, training support and SRU reporting activites.
Main tasks :
SRU is evolving as a new sub-function under The Group Credit Underwriting function to better mitigate severity risks in line with a clear roll-out plan. Sourcing the best information and equipping the global SRU network with custom monitoring and portfolio steering tools is one of the main pillars of the defined roadmap. Integration of any SRU related specific improvements and new tools to our processes also require training and cascading down of the competencies to the network in Region/BU levels.
In this context, the intern would support the team on:
- Scouting and sourcing new data sources internally and externally, testing the applicability, selection of the best options, managing the integration to our processes
- Design of the new monitoring and portfolio management tools in line with the requirements of the network
- Training processes
- Reporting and other relevant tasks
All work and tasks will be conducted in English and within an international team.
Knowledge / Experiences / Competencies required
Technical (i.e. data treatment and data/process tool building) knowledge
Familiarity with APIs and data integration processes would be a plus.
Interest into financial topics and processes
Ideally curiosity and interest in market data platforms: eg. Refinitiv, Bloomberg
High level of Excel and other database tools, skills
