Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Actuarial Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on inforce portfolio management, experience analysis, and assumption setting, supporting business decisions through data-driven insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to improving actuarial processes, tools, and governance standards, leveraging modern analytics and AI-driven approaches.
What You Do:
- Monitor the performance of the inforce portfolio and analyze key drivers of profitability, including lapse, mortality, and morbidity
- Support initiatives related to inforce management, such as portfolio optimization and execution of management actions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on portfolio-related topics and strategic insights

Perform regular experience analyses (e.g., mortality, morbidity, persistency, and expenses)

Investigate variances between actual and expected experience, identifying trends and underlying drivers

Support the development, validation, and review of best estimate assumptions

Extract, validate, and analyze large datasets to support actuarial analysis

Develop and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and monitoring tools

Drive process improvements through automation and enhancement of analytical tools

Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks, Group standards, and regulatory requirements
What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field

Progress toward actuarial professional certification (e.g., SOA, IFoA, or equivalent) is preferred

1–3 years of relevant actuarial or analytical experience (insurance experience is an advantage)

Exposure to experience studies, pricing, valuation, or inforce management is a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar

Familiarity with AI/ML tools or libraries such as Python (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) or similar frameworks
