Bring your workshop know-how into a decision-making role. As an Automotive Technician, you will support end-to-end handling of Extended Warranty and related programs—assessing claims, validating technical reports, and processing payments—while ensuring accuracy, cost control, and compliance with policy terms.

Note: This role will be employed under Allianz Partners Malaysia (AWP Services Sdn Bhd).

 

What you’ll do

  • Assess, validate, and approve claims within your authority
  • Review repair estimates, technical reports, and supporting documents from dealers/workshops
  • Process and manage claims payments accurately and on time
  • Ensure all claims comply with policy terms, internal guidelines, and documentation standards
  • Liaise with dealers, workshops, and internal stakeholders to clarify technical issues and justify claims
  • Monitor claims trends; highlight abnormal patterns and potential fraud
  • Support cost control initiatives and benchmark reasonable repair costs
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and turnaround time
  • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.

 

Requirements

  • Background in automotive (technical, workshop, or dealership experience preferred)
  • 3+ years’ experience in automotive workshop operations, automotive technical role, or claims.
  • Solid understanding of vehicle systems and repair processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound technical judgment
  • Clear communication skills to liaise with dealers and internal teams
  • Ability to read and speak Mandarin is an advantage

 

Working Conditions:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, normal working hours.
  • Location: UOA Centre, KLCC, Kuala Lumpur (easily accessible).
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid model – able to work both from home and the office.
