Automotive Vendor Network Specialist (Auto Warranty)
KUALA LUMPUR, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, MY
Help us build a high-performing repairer network and deliver fast, fair outcomes on automotive extended warranty claims. As a Network Specialist, you will develop and manage dealer/workshop partners (including EV-capable sites), ensure service quality and coverage, and support end-to-end claims handling—from technical assessment and estimate review to approval and payment processing.
Note: This role will be employed under Allianz Partners Malaysia (AWP Services Sdn Bhd).
What you’ll do
- Network development and management (40%)
- Build and expand the dealer/workshop network to ensure nationwide coverage, capability, and service quality
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new repairers (including EV-certified workshops) against capability, capacity, compliance, and quality criteria
- Draft and negotiate commercial terms; manage contracts, renewals, and SLAs/TATs
- Maintain strong relationships with partners; monitor performance, identify gaps, and drive improvements
- Conduct site visits, audits, and claim-related surveys at workshops/dealers

Cross-functional coordination (40%)
- Collaborate with Claims and Operations to align network capabilities with business strategy and claim requirements
- Liaise with customers, client teams, and customer support to recommend suitable network repairers and resolve issues
- Provide onboarding and system/process training to new and existing partners

Extended warranty claims support (20%)
- Handle day-to-day claims assessment, validation, and approval within authority limits
- Review/validate repair estimates, technical reports, and supporting documentation
- Process and manage claims payments accurately and on time
Requirements
- 3+ years’ relevant experience in automotive, insurance, extended warranty, or vendor/network management
- Background in dealer/vendor management, workshop operations, or partnerships preferred
- Strong understanding of the automotive repair ecosystem; exposure to EV repair networks is an advantage
- Proven experience in vendor sourcing, evaluation, contracting, and commercial negotiation
- Familiar with contract management, partner performance monitoring, SLAs, and TATs
- Solid technical understanding to support claims validation and workshop assessments
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management; confident in customer-facing communication. High ownership, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work independently
- Willingness to travel for site assessments and partner meetings (1-2 days a month)
- Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.
Nice to have (not required)
- Experience with data-driven performance dashboards/Excel reporting to track network KPIs
- Knowledge of warranty administration systems or claims platforms
- Familiarity with EV diagnostic/repair standards and OEM programs
What success looks like (6–12 months)
- Expanded, compliant network with improved coverage, capability, and EV readiness
- Measurable uplift in partner performance
- Accurate, timely claims decisions and payments with reduced rework and escalations
- Strong partner relationships and clear playbooks/SOPs for onboarding and operations
Working Conditions:
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, normal working hours.
- Location: UOA Centre, KLCC, Kuala Lumpur (easily accessible).
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid model – able to work both from home and the office.
- Travel Requirement: Travel within Malaysia will be required 1–2 days per month for site assessments and partner meetings.
