Role Purpose
The Resilience Officer coordinates the implementation and maintenance of Operational Resilience and Protective Security for the Allianz Technology branch or local entity. They are responsible for ensuring the implementation of the local processes and controls for domains that fall within the scope of the Allianz Technology Protection and Resilience (P&R) Function (Business Continuity Management, IT Service Continuity Management, Global Incident Management, Crisis Management, Protective Security Management, and Emergency Response Management). As Allianz Technology is an IT Service Provider to the Allianz OEs, the Resilience Officer must also carry out activities to provide assurances to the customer OE in relation to IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM).
Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Allianz OE:
•Act as a point of conduct and coordinate P&R related requests from the Allianz OE to the Allianz Technology branch or entity.
•With the support of the IT function to carry out the ITSCM gap analysis, verify the IT Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities, identify IT DR gaps and inconsistencies in DR data, and work with the Service Owner to ensure that mitigation plans are implemented to remediate any gaps or inconsistencies.
•Ensure IT DR plans are documented and maintained for applicable services, with the interdependencies between different response & recovery plans defined, and DORA requirements integrated.
•Ensure Muti-Year Test Plans are created and executed for all applicable services, with post exercise action plans created and tracked for implementation.
•Ensure technical IT DR tests are performed before any changes which impact the IT DR capabilities to a business-critical IT service or underlying service component are carried out.
Responsibilities for the Branch:
•Perform the BCM and ITSCM lifecycle activities for the Allianz Technology entity, including the Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Threat and Risk Impact Assessment (TRIA), Resilience Strategies, Response Planning, and Exercise and Testing.
•Escalate all non-IT incidents with crisis potential and locally triggered incidents to Allianz Technology P&R Global Incident Management.
•Participate in an incident coordination task force whenever necessary and follow-up on the status of locally reported incidents.
•Ensure that a local crisis unit has been established and the rules of procedures are in place and in line with Allianz Technology P&R corporate rule requirements.
•Ensure that crisis scenarios have been identified, crisis response plans are place, and the crisis management excercising and testing has been conducted.
•Carry out activities in relation to Protective Security Management, including tasks relating to Security Monitoring, Event Security, Personnel Security, Physcial Security and Emergency Response Management.
•Participate in reviews and assessments undertaken by the central Allianz Technology P&R Team.
•Ensure compliance with applicable local laws and regulations that relate to P&R and act as the primary contact for local regulators.
•Participate in global Resilience Officer network calls, trainings, and awareness sessions.
•Create awareness of Protection & Resilience and the associated responsibilities within AZT local branch or entity.
Skills, Training, and Certifications
Essential
•3 + years of professional experience in BCM, ITSCM or Crisis Management or any other relevant resilience discipline
•Demonstrable experience in performing activities in all phases of the BCM lifecycle (BIA, risk assessment, recovery strategies, response planning, exercising & testing, etc.)
•Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
•Collaboration and influencing skills, ability to engage stakeholders at all levels to effectively design and implement resilience solutions
•Confidence to interact and present to senior management
•Basic risk management capabilities and an understanding of operational and enterprise risk
•Experience in managing incidents and crisis situations, and ability to operate with clear vision under stress in crisis management situations and operate effective in the face of uncertainty
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, organized and results-focused
•Basic knowledge and understanding of relevant local and international regulatory environment and standards such as: DORA, NIS2, ISO Standards, ITIL, COBIT etc.
•Robust knowledge and experience in project management
Desirable
•Good understanding of Allianz Technology Resilience requirements and processes or similar processes within other organizations
•Good understanding of Allianz Technology Customer or similar experience in a customer facing role
•Experience in IT or related field
Certifications
•BCM-related certification e.g. CBCI, CBCP, CBCM, ISO 22301 Leader Implementer / Lead Auditor, or willing to obtain certification within first year in the role
§Prince2 or other project management certifications (desirable)
