About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our Distribution team on a 1-year contract basis. This role offers a unique opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals to gain exposure to the life insurance industry while working closely with a qualified actuary. You will be involved in regulatory research, project management, AI-driven innovation, and stakeholder engagement within the distribution function.
What you do
- Read, interpret, and summarise life insurance regulations and guidelines relevant to distribution
- Support project management activities including planning, tracking milestones, and reporting progress
- Prepare presentation decks and materials for management and stakeholder meetings
- Leverage AI tools and technologies to innovate and enhance reporting processes, driving efficiency and insights in distribution analytics
- Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to improve distribution strategies, streamline workflows, and identify new opportunities in the distribution space
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across various functions
- Assist in coordinating distribution-related initiatives and ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables
- Communicate findings and updates clearly to team members
What you bring
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Actuarial Studies, Insurance, or related disciplines
- Experience: Fresh graduate to 2 years of working experience
- Knowledge: Foundational understanding of life insurance concepts and principles
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to read, interpret, and synthesise regulatory documents and translate them into actionable insights
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging with people at all levels
- Personality: Outgoing, personable, and enjoys interacting with diverse stakeholders
- Project Management: Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and timelines
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and project tracking tools
- AI & Innovation: Interest in or familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT & CoPilot) and their application in business processes; willingness to experiment with emerging technologies
