Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agile practitioner to drive the Agile transformation within Allianz Malaysia. This role will drive the adoption of Agile ways of working, coach teams on Agile practices, and partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to enhance delivery efficiency, cross-functional collaboration, and customer value. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in shaping our transformation roadmap, uplifting capabilities, and guiding the organization towards a sustainable Agile culture.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Enterprise Agile transformation journey across Allianz Malaysia.
  • Coach cross-functional squad teams on Agile principles, frameworks, and practices.
  • Assess squad’s maturity, identify gaps, and develop tailored coaching plans to continuously improve performance.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to shape the transformation roadmap and align Agile initiatives to strategic priorities.
  • Guide teams on value delivery, backlog prioritization, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and conduct Agile training, workshops, and coaching sessions.
  • Advocate and foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, customer-centricity, high performance and adaptability.
  • Promote understanding of Agile methodologies and foster a cultural shift towards Agile principles; regularly evaluate and refine the approach to Agile adoption to align with the organization's requirements.
  • Track and report Agile performance metrics to measure progress, outcomes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support Agile transformation-related change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement activities.

 

Key Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Economics, Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of hands-on experience as an Agile Practitioner or Scrum Master in a transformation environment.
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
  • Proven experience in leading Agile transformations within financial services or insurance industry is preferred.
  • Good understanding in Agile framework, and the ability to coach individuals and teams to perform successfully in roles within Agile teams. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well under pressure to manage multi-tasking.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to simplify complexity and drive clarity.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, innovation, and driving positive cultural change.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (written and oral).
  • A team player and able to manage the relevant stakeholders and ensure timely compilation of deliverables.
  • Meticulous, with an eye for details and hands on person
  • Familiar with the use of ChatGPT for tasks simplification
