Assistant Manager, Claims Standards and Performance Management

Drive Claims operational excellence through the enhancement, optimisation, and governance of Claims systems and platforms. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and implement automation, digitalisation, and AI-enabled solutions to strengthen operational effectiveness, control, and service delivery. Lead and support system enhancement initiatives, change requests (CRs), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, reporting, and post-implementation validation to ensure stable, scalable, and efficient system solutions that support end-to-end Claims operations.
You'll be responsible for:
- Identifying processes which can be automated.
- Enhancement of Merimen / OPUS.
- Enhance interface for customer / insured claims notifications, submission of documents and claims status enquiry.
- Support and execute assigned Claims system enhancements, change requests (CRs), and related projects to ensure timely completion of deliverables in accordance with agreed timelines and business objectives.
- Provide end-to-end support for assigned system enhancements, including progress tracking, weekly status reporting, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking and resolution follow-up, as well as post-implementation validation to ensure solutions meet business, operational, and governance requirements.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and strategic assignments as directed by the Chief Claims Officer, Head of Division, and/or Management in support of departmental priorities, governance requirements, and broader organisational objectives.
Important to your success:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in insurance claims operations, claims performance management, or claims business analysis.
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot is an added advantage.
