Job Summary:

Responsible for acquiring new partnerships and referral partners, generating new business through partners, and ensuring smooth processes and delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Acquisition of Distributors

    • Manage distributors and client partners: acquisition, development, profiling, relationship planning, target strategy planning, joint business planning, issue resolution, execution of campaigns, consequence management.
  2. Contract, Commission & Incentive Management

    • Manage distributor contracts and handle requests on contract conditions.
    • Support sales targets, research and analyze distributors and competitors, steer relationship managers or field managers, define distributor commissions and incentives, define sales management support, define sales processes, prepare marketing campaigns for execution, define required communication to distributors, ensure compliance with sales standards.
  3. Sales Communication, Relationship Management & Training

    • Communicate relevant information to distributors (e.g., events, promotion material, changes in processes, product specifications, documentation requirements, incentive targets and rewards).
    • Establish and maintain permanent contact with distribution partners to build long-lasting valuable partnerships.
    • Develop and deliver appropriate training to distributors and managers to support and improve sales capabilities (product knowledge, customer needs, sales skills).

 

Key Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the General Insurance industry or equivalent, with good knowledge of General Insurance products.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about providing good service and ability to network.
  • Persuasive with good negotiation skills.
  • A team player, able to manage relevant stakeholders and ensure timely compilation of deliverables.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative, with minimum supervision.
  • Familiar with the use of ChatGPT or other AI tools for task simplication
